Wallace art award 2nd times finalist

My work for the Wallace awards last night ^^. Very proud to hear someone wants to buy this piece on the second day.

heres a description on my piece:

Title: Save the bloody money
Description: In Asia, shark fin soup is a delicacy. Most people place this expensive dish in their menu for weddings and important dinners to show power and status over money. However, little that people know the sharks that are caught is hunted solely for the fins on their body. They cut off the fins and toss the shark back into the sea, since the body does not provide a price and takes up space on the boat. Tossing the body into the sea provides a solution for the catcher to kill more and make more money.
Red in the painting symbolizes the color of luck and happiness but also directly highlights the idea of blood shaped dollar signs to provide awareness to consumption to animal cruelty and where your money goes does make the difference.
