Me slapping ink on again

Its important to be able to split up the landscape into 4 - 5 ranges in the distance and one way to obtain a thick mist is actually to apply a lot of ink to contrast the white

The angles cut and push the landscape

The way we hold a brush effects the rigidness of the lines

the hands must be still but relaxed.

even with trees we must be able to direct a motion of wind or a gesture to the eyes.

The first few lines define how the painting is going to be in the end so its the base to how good a artist actually is.

The sides of the cliff should also have trees to soften the strong rocks and the mist and the water should compliment this by blurring out the edges.

I work spontaneously with my trees, as i think they are the directors to how a landscape feels. Too many leaves gives a feel of it being in spring, the bareness of the trees give a sense to the arrival of winter.

To divide space even further a close framing device is required to complete the picture.

again i use a broad  layer of ink to thicken the mist

the start of a waterfall should be a shape that obstructs or diverts the flow to show movement. This would push the white forward.

Corners should never be sealed off as these are the channels where chi can flow quickly.

Had no idea i had so many people at the back of me until i turned around.
