"fish for freedom" my second piece that made it to the framers and managed to get sold. What a blessing with great news today. The concept of the fish dates back when I first started to paint, I painted for 10 years straight with the koi carp before I did anything else. This was my masters most treasured subject, he was very meticulous about how the lines flowed and how the scales joined, how the fish spaced on the paper. Later I was given the freedom to create. Flowers bloomed and water and its flow became abstract lines and dots. Lines directed the eyes and dots put in the full stops to the sentence.
