Land of the long white cloud

Parents went down south with my bro and his wife and his in laws ^^. Took heaps of really cool photos and post cards for souvenir for me. I felt super inspired in the last few day and did this painting. Did the sky a few times to get that crisp blue colour and worked out that aqua look for the lake. Then discovered that i could push landscape further if I didn't break up the clouds too much and let it weave through like a eye tracking device. Tehehehehe the irony of the word Aotearoa. "Land of the long white cloud".
